BQ - SA516 Gr. 70 Plates are carbon steel pressure vessel plates manufactured according to ASTM A516/A516M Grade 70 requirements. These plates are primarily intended for welded pressure vessels where good strength and improved notch toughness are required.
SA516 Grade 70 Plates offer a combination of strength, weldability and toughness, making them suitable for pressure vessel fabrication and demanding industrial applications. Grade 70 has a specified tensile strength range of 70–90 ksi (485–620 MPa), subject to the applicable specification and product condition.
